Boké Expressway is my trippy, adrenaline-fueled series about sex, drugs & techno. I write, illustrate, and design all aspects of this series.
The cover is an optical illusion that changes your focus depending on how close you get to it.
The first volume, 'Chasing a Song' was recently fully funded on Kickstarter and is now in print. The story is about Mikey, a throwback raver who hears a mysterious song at a club and becomes obsessed with finding it. The song seems to exist nowhere but in his own, drug-ridden mind. The DJs don't know it, his friends don't care, and even the song itself begins to taunt him when it takes shape as a modern day siren, beckoning him to follow her.
This was a short story submitted to the upcoming EnterVoid anthology, 'Pulpito.'
The theme of the anthology is creativity and creation; I wanted to convey the feeling a lot of us who work day jobs have when we're truly obsessed with our side projects or hobbies and think about them all day long.
I've actually always enjoyed origami and folded this crane to use as reference before drawing the pages.
Albert the Alien
Sometimes I fill in as a guest artist for this Harvey Award nominated comic, made by two friends of mine.
Albert the Alien is a great kid's web series that's been printed in 2 graphic novel volumes through 2 successful Kickstarter campaigns.

Our Fair City
Illustration | Lettering
Our Fair City is a sci-fi podcast done in old radio style with scripts, actors, and sound effects. The past couple years I've done some cover art for their show, as well as comic pages for a yearly anthology they publish to supplement the storylines in the show.

The Chicago Reader had an open call for submissions for their comics issue. I submitted a full page comic strip, that was printed in the issue.

Fine Art & Figure Study
Watercolor | Charcoal
Drawing ability is like a muscle, so I do a lot of figure studies to keep that muscle in shape and improve my knowledge of anatomy, form, and shading.
